The hat museum
In Chazelles sur Lyon – 20 km from Riverie – you can find the museum of hat.
The former hat factory Fléchet was turned into a museum. You can visit it on your own or choose a guided tour. (We advise the guided tour.)
There, you can discover the history of hat-making in Chazelles and how workers managed to manufacture hats, worn by every social class, from rabbit fur.
